Fourteen-year-old Cora Forster moves to Maine the summer after the death of her father. She can't wait to move and make some friends, as she was a mis-fit in her old school. She soon finds out almost instantly after moving that Maine was not all it was cracked up to be. She discovers that there was a girl, Cassie Redman--opposite personality, but same face--who died on railroad tracks many years before. She has to face her fears this summer, mild and severe.
